Celebrate Ability is an Autism Waiver provider for the state of Maryland. We provide therapeutic services to children from elementary age to 21 years old in their home and community. We are hiring one-to-one instructional support and respite staff for clients in multiple counties across Maryland. Responsibilities of Intensive Instructional Support Services (IISS) and Respite Staff:
- Help clients gain more independence on goals listed on the treatment plan (IISS only)
- Assist clients in activities of daily living and personal hygiene, communication and socialization
- Help clients manage their own behavior and teach them appropriate alternative behaviors
- Encourage and participate in recreational activities with clients
- Keep accurate records and enter session notes daily
Qualifications of Intensive Instructional Support Services (IISS) and Respite Staff
- 100 hours of hands on professional or personal experience supporting individuals with autism
- Must pass state and federal background check (including CPS and APS checks if necessary)
- Safe driving record
- 3 references (at least 2 professional)
